It’s our commitment to hire and train the best guides in the industry. To ensure this we seek out career-minded guides, hire them as interns/employees or have them freelance for us. We conduct periodic staff trainings, and require current medical certifications. In addition to technical competency and credentials, we also require excellent people skills. These extraordinary men and women have the ability to turn a great get-away into an unforgettable, inspiring and even a truly life changing adventure.
Comprehensive Risk Management
All of our guides are trained under team LGH. One of them carry a first-aid kit issued on field, comprehensive list of medical protocols, and a phone with connectivity in the hiking area. In addition, we have a dedicated and well experienced Risk Management Consultant who helps us meet the highest standard of safety.

We have 3 dedicated Trip Coordinators ready to help you find the right trip and get prepared for it. Our experienced hikers and guides are well-versed in the nuances of adventure in wilderness and terrains we operate in. All-inclusive Tours
Some tour companies charge “rental” fees for use of sleeping bags, Safety Gears, and backpacks or don’t provide them at all. However, those items are fully included in the trip price on our trips. What about sales tax, meals, permit fees and transportation fees? All totally included.

Refund Policy:
Once cancellation of the registered event to be participated and refund amount is mutually agreed between participant and Team LGH, we prepare all refund cheques on the following Monday and deposit them in the respective banks on Tuesday. Please wait another week if the refund process is initiated on Monday after 11AM.To have refund processed on Tuesday, we request you to get all formalities done on or before Monday morning 11AM, this includes: agreement on the refund amount and providing all bank details to deposit the cheque in.

  • Alcohol is strictly prohibited on any LGH events.
  • Trekking is an activity where there are more than 50% chances of facing uncertainty, as you see we always write “Tentative Schedule”, on treks. It’s very difficult to make people walk at the speed we want. Also because the vehicles we hire are not regular route vehicles like KSTDC which can guarantee us the time it takes to reach.
  • Weather conditions, wildlife movements, permission changes are not in our hand, often we are forced to change the itinerary, distance or place. But if for some reason we cancel the event we offer 100% refund to all the participants.
  • Participant should have minimum fitness, stamina and the ability to sustain harsh environments. We have experienced few picnic crowds registering for treks by mistake (Crowd which demands for changing room, rest room, bedroom, shower, porters etc.) We request not to register if you are not OK carrying your own required items, which include: Your personal backpack, sleeping bags and common items like food, tents etc distributed equally among the group.
  • Issues pertaining to pickup and drop time are quite rare. If you are too specific, please check before registering.
  • We cannot guarantee availability of rest rooms where we do night camping. But for everybody’s convenience we try our best to reach a place where people can freshen up.
  • While utilizing campsite all trekkers have to be responsible for cleaning the place (after and before use. Disposing waste such as plastic, aluminium foil or making a fire using non-degradable material is strictly prohibited on LGH events. We request our trekker to be conscious of natural environment and not let his/her convenience disturb the surrounding.
  • We expect every trekker to be respectful towards Nature, local people/tribals.
  • We have designated pick up and drop points. Please make your own arrangements of transport to the desired pick-up point accordingly.
  • In the event of you cancelling after registering with us, we refund you as per our cancellation policy.
  • In case of damage or loss of any of the LGH equipment or property, the person responsible for the same will have to bear the cost.
  • All our events are built on Teamwork methodology. Our coordinators’ presence in the event is to lead the event, make sure that things are going as per plan, schedule, and safety. Also its fun to pitch tents, collect firewood from forest, cook food etc.
  • Trekking is a life skill of exploring the nature in natural way which gives you experience of surviving in all hostile conditions with barely any means or tools of survival . Try to gain maximum of that experience, test the limits of your body and mind.
  • All our arrangements are very basic; we do not/cannot provide luxury on such events. Our accommodations generally include Sleeping bags and Tents, Dormitories, room with no beds and sometimes just sleeping bags under the glittering sky
  • To keep proper track of participants and keep them updated from time to time, we require every participant to read through these points and then register.
  • We do not have control over online registrations. There are times when registrations exceed the limit, prompting us to serve you on first come, first serve basis. In the event of such situations we may be compelled to refund some or switch them to an alternative trek.
  • We as a merchant shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for any Transaction, on Account of the Cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed by us with our acquiring bank from time to time.
